Thiruvalla: The Malankara Catholic Association (MCA) of the Thiruvalla region embarked on Mission Santhwana journey, spanning multiple states to visit and support various mission centres. The pilgrimage, initiated on April 27, 2024, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Mathew Vazhayil and Mr. Biju George, saw a delegation of members travel to Delhi.
The journey commenced with a Holy Qurbana celebrated at Changanacherry Church at 2 AM. The group, comprising elderly members, children, and families from several parishes, visited mission centres across Punjab, Jammu, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Tirupur. The journey was flagged off by Rev. Fr. Justin Olickal, marking a deeply spiritual and fulfilling experience for all involved.
Delhi Arrival and Welcome Ceremony
The delegation was warmly received in Delhi by the head of the Gurgaon Diocese, His Excellency Aboon Thomas Mor Anthonios OIC Metropolitan, along with other dignitaries. The reception included a traditional welcome with bouquets, reflecting the spirit of unity and fraternity.
