Syro-Malankara Catholic Church in Parassala Diocese Celebrates Regional Young Family Gathering

Parassala, February 25, 2024 – The Syro-Malankara Catholic Church’s Parassala Diocese held an inspiring regional gathering for young families at the Kattakada Ecclesiastical District. The event, held on 25th February 2024, saw an enthusiastic participation of young couples and their families, coming together to foster community spirit and faith.

The gathering was graced by the presence of His Excellency Thomas Mar Eusebius, the Bishop of Parassala, who delivered a blessing and keynote address. His words echoed the Church’s commitment to nurturing young families as the bedrock of a vibrant parish life. Mrs. Sini led the session with insightful discussions on the challenges and joys of Christian family life.

The assembly was further enriched by the contributions of Father Aloysius, the diocesan director, and Father Thomas Pottapurayidom, who both shared their perspectives on the spiritual and practical aspects of leading a Christ-centred household.

A similar programme was also organised in the Neyyattinkara Ecclesiastical District of Parassala Diocese, with Father Prabeesh George extending a warm welcome and sharing encouraging words.
