On the 5th of June 2025, Snehadeepam Minor Seminary, the nurturing cradle of priestly vocations within the Eparchy of Parassala, welcomed ten new seminarians at a simple yet profound ceremony held at 4:00 PM.
The reception was marked by a warm embrace from the senior seminarians, who greeted the newcomers with flowers, symbolising fraternity and welcome. A brief prayer gathering in the seminary chapel brought together the new candidates, their families, priests, and formators, creating an atmosphere of sacred commitment.
Rev. Fr. Anit Francis Mullassery, Procurator of the seminary, opened the proceedings with a heartfelt welcome. The Rector, Rev. Fr. Aloysius Thunduthottil, reflected on the gravity and grace of priestly formation, expressing gratitude to the parents for entrusting their sons to the Church’s care.
A poignant moment of prayer led by Rev. Fr. Bosco Chalarackal followed, during which parents bestowed their blessings upon their sons, sealing the beginning of their spiritual journey.
The gathering concluded with a shared meal, fostering fellowship among all present.

- Roy John – Keezhe Nandikkulam (Mullur)
- Ithihas – Perumthottathil Veedu, Vazhichel
- Vishwas A. V. – Sadanam, Kadamankunnu
- Akhil – Vettuvila
- Aravind – Karumaram
- Ashin – Raj Bhavan, Vazhuthacaud
- Alex – Saji Nivas
