The MCYM Parassala Ecclesiastical District Committee organised the much-anticipated event, Assisian Friendship Shore, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Kochupally. This gathering brought together the youth of the Parassala Ecclesiastical District in a celebration of faith, camaraderie, and joy.
Faith Enrichment with Fr. Jolly Karimpil
The event began with an enlightening session led by Fr. Dr. Jolly Karimpil, a professor from the Major Seminary. Fr. Karimpil addressed the pressing faith-related questions and doubts faced by the youth in today’s world. His responses were both inspiring and thought-provoking, fostering a deeper understanding of faith among the young participants.
Interactive Group Activities
Following the session, the focus shifted to activities that emphasised unity and collaboration. KCYM Syndicate member Augustin John and Diocesan Vice President Jeena Raj divided the attendees into smaller groups to engage in games designed to build friendships and promote teamwork. The games brought a lively and cheerful atmosphere, transforming the gathering into a true celebration of fellowship.
A Feast of Togetherness
The day concluded with a love feast prepared and served by the various ecclesiastical districts. This shared meal added warmth to the event, symbolising unity and the essence of Christian fellowship.
Organisational Excellence
The event was meticulously coordinated under the guidance of the MCYM Parassala Ecclesiastical District Committee, ensuring its success. The youth departed with cherished memories, strengthened friendships, and renewed faith.
MCYM Parassala Ecclesiastical District continues to inspire and bring the youth closer to Christ through meaningful initiatives like Assisian Friendship Shore.
