Rev. Fr.Andrews Melel OIC is called to eternal rest

Rev. Fr. Andrews Melel OIC, a member of Bethany Navajyothy Province of the Order of the Imitation of Christ, was called to eternal reward on 8 January 2013. He was 89 years old. He rendered his service as Secretary General of the Congregation. Also he served as Parish Priest of several parishes such as Kallissery, Ampoori, Mayam, Nedumangad, Mundela, Paruthikuzhi, Kulappada, Velloorkonam, Irumpa and Kozhiyode. He served in Joliet and Tyler Dioceses in America from 1967-2002. The funeral ceremony will be held at Bethany Ashram, Tiruvalla at 2 p.m. on Wednesday 09 January 2013. His Grace Most Rev. Thomas Mar Koorilos will officiate the funeral ceremony.
