With profound grief, the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church announces the passing of Rev. Sr. Nirmala DM, aged 92, a treasured member of the Daughters of Mary, St. Joseph’s Province, Marthandam. She was called to her eternal rest on 31 December 2024, leaving behind a legacy of faith, dedication, and love.
A Life Dedicated to Service
Rev. Sr. Nirmala devoted her life to the service of God and His people. As a member of the Daughters of Mary, she lived out her vocation with humility, grace, and unwavering commitment. Her contributions to the Church and community were a testament to her deep faith and selfless spirit.
Funeral Service Details
The funeral service for Rev. Sr. Nirmala will be held on Friday, 3 January 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Provincial House, Marthandam. The solemn rites will be officiated by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Vincent Mor Paulos, Bishop of Marthandam.
