Farewell to a Faithful Servant: Sister Virgin DM (89) Passes Away

The Malankara Syrian Catholic Church mourns the loss of Sister Virgin DM of the Daughters of Mary (DM) congregation, Kapurthala Christ the King Province, who was called to her heavenly abode on March 19, 2024, at the age of 89. Sister Virgin’s life was a beacon of service and devotion, touching the lives of many within the church community and beyond.

The solemn funeral service was conducted on March 20, 2024, a day of poignant reflection for those who knew her. The service, held under the dignified leadership of the Apostolic Administrator of the Jalandhar Diocese, Agnelo Rufino Gracias, alongside the esteemed presence of Bishop Vincent Mar Paulos of the Marthandam Diocese, was a testament to Sister Virgin’s significant contributions to the church and the people she served with unwavering faith and love.
