Marthandam, February 13, 2024: The Daughters of Mary, St. Joseph’s Province, Marthandam, is enveloped in sorrow as it announces the passing of Rev. Sr. Sibia DM, a cherished member of the 1992 batch, on the morning of February 13, 2024. At the age of 53, Sr. Sibia was called to her eternal abode following a severe cardiac arrest, leaving behind a legacy of devout service and spiritual dedication.
A Life Devoted to Service
Sr. Sibia has been a beacon of light and hope in her community, exemplifying the values and teachings of the Daughters of Mary through her unwavering commitment to service. Her life, dedicated to prayer, compassion, and care for the less fortunate, has touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on those she served.
Final Farewell
The funeral service for Rev. Sr. Sibia DM will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 11:30 AM at the Marthandam Provincial House. The service will be officiated by His Excellency Most Rev. Yoohanon Mar Chrisostom, who, along with the congregation, will pay their respects and bid a final farewell to a soul whose life was a testament to faith and service.
