The Syro Malankara Catholic community in Bahrain is rejoicing as they celebrate a significant moment of pride. His Excellency Msgr. Aldo Berardi O.SS.T., Apostolic Vicar of the Northern Vicariate, which covers Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, announced the formation of the Family Ministry within the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia.
In an announcement that filled the community with joy, His Excellency appointed Rev. Fr. Jacob Kalluvila, the spiritual leader of the Syro Malankara Catholic community in Bahrain and Assistant Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church, as the first Diocesan Director of the Family Ministry in the Northern Vicariate. Shilu Thomas (Yacoob) will serve alongside him in this important role.
