Reflecting the spirit of anticipation and unity, the Malankara Catholic Youth Movement (MCYM) has officially unveiled its logo for the year 2024, encapsulating the theme “Youth Pilgrims of Hope.” This theme, deeply resonant with Pope Francis’ proclamation of 2024 as a Year of Prayer, positions the youth of the Malankara Catholic Church at the heart of a global spiritual journey towards the Jubilee of Hope in 2025.
The newly revealed logo, rich in symbols that echo the aspirations and the spiritual voyage of the youth, serves as a beacon of hope and a call to prayerful reflection and action. It embodies the collective spirit of the youth as pilgrims, embarking on a path filled with faith, hope, and solidarity. This initiative aligns with the universal church’s preparation for the Jubilee of Hope, marking the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council’s conclusion, a pivotal moment that continues to inspire the church’s mission in the modern world.
Pope Francis, in his Angelus address marking the commencement of the Year of Prayer, emphasized the indispensable role of prayer in fostering a deeper relationship with God, promoting unity among Christians, and securing peace across the globe.
