Thiruvalla Social Service Society
The Thiruvalla Social Service Society, in collaboration with St. George High School, Kottangal, and Chunkappara, distributed saplings, vegetable seeds, and seed pens to students. The event was inaugurated by Fr. Bineesh Simon, Executive Director of Bodhana, who spoke about the students’ responsibilities in protecting the environment. School Principal Mr. Baiju and other faculty members extended their wishes.


MCYM Ranni Region
The MCYM Ranni region celebrated World Environment Day by honoring members of the Haritha Karma Sena, a local environmental protection force. The event, held on June 5, included the distribution of umbrellas and vegetable seeds. Mrs. Adv. Bindu Reji, President of Ranni Angadi Grama Panchayat, inaugurated the ceremony. Region President Jerin Placheri chaired the meeting, with keynote addresses by Region Director Fr. Koshi Mannil and other MCYM leaders.




MCYM Vakayar Unit
The MCYM Vakayar unit celebrated the day under the leadership of their vicar, who planted saplings for a better tomorrow.

St. Thomas Malankara Catholic Church, Elamadu, also marked World Environment Day on June 5 with parish-level celebrations.

As part of the Nuhro 2024 initiative, the MCYM Aylara unit celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings and other plants.

MCYM Athumpumkulam
The MCYM Athumpumkulam unit celebrated World Environment Day by planting a tree, led by Fr. Lijo Thomas.

Under the leadership of MCYM, the Kurishumuttam unit celebrated World Environment Day on June 5 by planting saplings.




MCYM Arasuparambu
“Ithal” Environment Day Celebration After Holy Qurbana, unit director Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Valiyachangaveettil led the planting of saplings in the church premises and distributed saplings to Sunday School students.

MCYM Kaithaparambu
The MCYM Kaithaparambu unit celebrated World Environment Day by planting a tree with the participation of the priest, sister, and the youth.

MCYM Mannarakulanji
The MCYM Mannarakulanji unit celebrated World Environment Day by planting saplings in the presence of the parish vicar, Fr. Mannil and the elders of the church.
