MCYMNA hosted a virtual Chai & Chat session on June 1st at 7:30 pm with a theme centralized around Asian American Heritage month in May. The speaker, Fr. Thomas Betz gave an excellent presentation on Asian American history and how the Catholic faith plays a transformative role in the current social and political environment surrounding violence and hate crimes committed against the Asian communities. The attendees were very engaged and enthused by Fr. Betz’s knowledge on the topic as well as his lasting relationship with the Malankara community.
