The MCYM Bathery Diocese, under the stewardship of the Mananthavady Region, successfully conducted the Jeevadhayakam Blood Donation Camp on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Mananthavady Medical College. The event was a testament to the commitment of the youth towards saving lives and contributing to the greater good.
Inauguration and Opening Ceremony
The camp began with a prayer, setting a solemn tone for the day. Alinta Shaji, President of the Mananthavady Region, welcomed the participants with heartfelt words of encouragement. The event was officially inaugurated by Diocesan Animator Sr. Dr. Franci Maria D.M., while Regional Director Rt. Rev. Fr. Varghese Mattamana delivered the keynote address, highlighting the spiritual and humanitarian significance of blood donation.
The inaugural session was presided over by Diocesan President Mr. Eby Abraham, whose leadership and vision were evident throughout the camp.
Awareness Sessions
A series of informative sessions were conducted by Dr. Archana Rajan, Dr. Bijin, and Mr. Shinoj, who emphasised the importance and benefits of blood donation. These awareness classes inspired many attendees, reinforcing the value of their selfless act.

Adding to the spirit of the event, the youth of the Mananthavady Region who excelled at the Diocesan Kalotsavam were felicitated and presented with awards, recognising their talents and contributions.
