Foundation Stone Laid for new Church at Thoduvakkad

Foundation stone for the reconstruction of the St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Thoduvakkad was laid by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos on Sunday, 15 July 2012. The ceremony started with the Holy Qurbono. Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Anthonios OIC, Curia Bishop and Rev. Fr. Joseph Chavadimuruppel, a member of the parish and Rev. Fr. John Areeckal, the Protopresbyter were present.  The entire parish community attended the solemn functions. Rev. Fr. Thomas Marottimoottil is the parish priest.
