A Milestone in Community Healthcare

The formal handing-over ceremony took place at the Perumthuruthy campus of the College of Dental Sciences, where His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mor Koorilos, Metropolitan Archbishop of Tiruvalla and Patron of Pushpagiri Medical Society, presided over the event.

The flagging-off ceremony was conducted by Ms. Shalini Warrier, Executive Director of Federal Bank, alongside Motor Vehicle Inspector Shibi T. John. Bringing Oral Healthcare Closer to the People

With dental diseases and poor oral hygiene remaining significant concerns, particularly in rural regions, the Pushpagiri Mobile Dental Clinic will:

  • Provide on-the-go dental check-ups and treatments for communities lacking easy access to oral healthcare.
  • Offer preventive care, screenings, and early intervention to combat dental ailments.
  • Reach schools, rural villages, and underserved populations, ensuring oral health awareness and treatment for those who might otherwise forego essential dental care.

Strengthening the Vision for Public Healthcare

This initiative aligns with Federal Bank’s ongoing CSR projects, including “Sanjeevani – United Against Cancer”, which provided comprehensive cancer care to over 7,000 beneficiaries in the current financial year alone. The mobile dental clinic is yet another step towards bridging healthcare gaps and reinforcing a sustainable, community-centred approach to medical outreach.

As the mobile dental unit sets out on its journey to serve the needy, this collaboration between Federal Bank and Pushpagiri College of Dental Sciences stands as a demonstration of faith-driven service, corporate responsibility, and the unwavering commitment to public welfare.

May this initiative continue to bring healing and smiles to those in need, reflecting the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church’s mission of service, compassion, and holistic development.
