Chenganoor, 03 February 2024 – The Malankara Catholic Youth Movement (MCYM) of the Chenganoor Malankara Syriac Catholic Church led the successful organization of the 5th Joel Memorial Worship Song Competition, marking a significant cultural and spiritual event in the church’s annual calendar. The St. John’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Thiruvalla MCYM Unit emerged victorious, securing the first place, a testament to their dedication and musical talent, celebrated with heartfelt congratulations from the Cathedral parish community.
The competition, held today at Chenganoor Church, witnessed the participation of choirs from 15 parish teams across five regions of the Thiruvalla Archdiocese, showcasing a rich diversity of worship music and talent.
The Peringara St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church choir was awarded second place, highlighting the competitive spirit and excellence in performance that characterized the event.
