On January 2, 2025, the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church embarked on a spiritually significant journey as His Eminent Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Church, inaugurated the Global Catholic Jubilee Year at the St. Mary’s Major Archieparchial Cathedral, Pattom, Trivandrum. The day’s celebrations commenced with the solemn Holy Qurbono led by His Eminent Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos. During the liturgy, His Eminence Cardinal Mar George Jacob Koovakad delivered an insightful homily, urging the faithful to deepen their faith and engage with the mission of the Church during this Jubilee Year.

In a pivotal moment of the celebration, His Beatitude launched the Malankara Mobile Application and the Malankaramap.com website, two groundbreaking digital initiatives aimed at enhancing the Church’s connectivity and accessibility.
- The Malankara Mobile Application provides the faithful with access to Church history, liturgical resources, and spiritual content, making it an essential tool for deepening faith in the modern age.
- Malankaramap.com, created by Angelo Alummoottil, serves as a global directory for locating Syro-Malankara Catholic churches across eparchies and countries, offering detailed information about Church services, locations, and events. His Beatitude expressed heartfelt gratitude to Angelo Alummoottil for his dedicated work on this project.

The Feast Day celebration of His Beatitude witnessed a remarkable convergence of Church leaders, political figures, and social dignitaries who gathered to extend their blessings and wishes.
- Bishop Mor Severios Kuriakose, alongside clergy and laity, personally visited His Beatitude to convey warm wishes.
- Adoor Prakash MP, Dean Kuriakose MP, VS Sivakumar, PC Vishnunadh MLA, Shashi Tharoor MP, and Anto Antony MP were among the many dignitaries who paid their respects and offered their greetings.
