The Role of Nurses from Kerala in the UAE

Nurses from Kerala hold a significant place in the healthcare sector of the UAE. Known for their professionalism, expertise, and compassionate care, they form a substantial part of the nursing workforce in the region. Their commitment to excellence and patient-centred care has earned them immense respect and trust from patients and healthcare institutions alike. The presence of Kerala nurses in the UAE not only strengthens the healthcare system but also fosters a bridge of cultural and professional exchange between India and the UAE.

Nurses Globally

Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare system globally. They provide essential care, often working long hours in challenging conditions to ensure the well-being of their patients. Their roles encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including administering medication, providing emotional support, conducting health education, and performing critical interventions. The COVID-19 pandemic has further underscored the critical importance of nurses, as they have been on the frontlines, providing care and comfort in unprecedented times.

The celebration of International Nurses Day at St. Anthony of Padua Church was a heartfelt acknowledgment of the sacrifices and contributions made by nurses, particularly those from the Kerala community in Ras Al Khaimah. The event served as a reminder of the crucial role nurses play in our lives, not only in providing healthcare but also in offering hope and compassion to those in need. As we honour these healthcare heroes, we extend our gratitude and prayers for their continued strength and dedication.
