Inter Church Council had declared that one-sided amendment of the Kerala Educational Rules (KER) is not acceptable. The government should re-examine the decision that not to allot any new courses to the colleges in aided and self-financing sectors. The government should take into confidence the Christian Managements who have been contributing a lot in the field of education in Kerala: said the members of the inter-church council in Kerala after the meeting held in Kochi on 17 January 2017. The Council meeting was presided over by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, the President of CBCI.
