Thiruvananthapuram – In a joyous celebration of Christmas, Governor Arif Mohammed Khan hosted a grand Christmas feast at Raj Bhavan on 17th December 2024. The event brought together religious leaders, community representatives, political dignitaries, and prominent public figures to mark the season of love, unity, and goodwill.
The celebrations commenced at 6 PM with Governor Arif Mohammed Khan cutting the Christmas cake amidst a beautifully decorated setting at the Raj Bhavan courtyard. Adding to the festive spirit, school students mesmerised the attendees with soulful renditions of Christmas carols, further elevating the joyful atmosphere.
Syro-Malankara Catholic Church’s Presence
The Syro-Malankara Catholic Church was represented with grace and reverence. His Eminent Beatitude Cardinal Moran Mor Baselios Cleemis Catholicos, Major Archbishop-Catholicos of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, participated in the event alongside other dignitaries. His presence accentuated the Church’s commitment to promoting interfaith harmony, goodwill, and unity during this sacred season.
