On the afternoon of Sunday, 22 June 2025, the Syro Malankara Catholic faithful in Dublin, Ireland, joyfully received His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yoohanon Mor Theodosius, the Bishop of Muvattupuzha and Apostolic Visitator to Europe, at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rowlagh, Dublin.
The gathering began with a heartfelt reception, followed by a solemn celebration of the Holy Mass, and concluded with a warm meet and greet among the faithful. The church, bathed in soft light beneath the gentle Irish sky, became a place where ancient tradition and living faith came together in harmony.
Mor Theodosius’s visit was a profound testament to the enduring connection between the Syro Malankara Catholic Church and its diaspora communities across Europe. It offered the faithful a precious opportunity to deepen their roots in the rich liturgical heritage of the Church and to renew their spiritual bonds.
Throughout the day, prayers and songs filled the air, echoing the steadfast faith of those gathered far from their ancestral lands. This occasion shone as a moment of unity, hope, and renewed commitment to the journey of faith.
The visit brought comfort and joy, inspiring the community with the pastoral care and guidance of their shepherd. It reminded all present of the universal embrace of the Church, reaching beyond borders and generations.
May the blessings of the Immaculate Heart of Mary continue to grace His Excellency Mor Theodosius and the faithful of Dublin, strengthening their faith and nurturing their spirit.
