 All the sacrifices of the past, as stated in the **Epistle to the Hebrews**, were but //"shadows of the good things to come"// (**Hebrews 10:1**). They were intended for a time and came to an end when **Christ died on the cross**. By His **sacrifice on the cross**, Christ fulfilled all the sacrifices, not only of the **Old Law** but also of the **Natural Law**.
